Haha, not that far...but far enough that I wouldn't wanna drive there (if I could drive...). XP
Hmmm...it's my choice in that I can probably decide what college I want to go to. Then again, since my mother's paying for my college tuition...it's kind of her choice too, you know? We're already having arguments about what college I should go to, even though the results don't come in until March. XP
Yeah, be a fellow English major! XD There aren't enough of us in the world...too many freakin' science or math majors. >__> I don't know about your high school, but that's what practically everyone in my high school is majoring in...seriously, this year in AP Literature class, my teach went around asking people what they wanted to major in, and I was the only person who said English. D: Depressing...
If you wanted to major in culinary arts, wouldn't you have to go to a culinary school? Or do a lot of colleges provide that major? 'cause I have a friend right now who wants to go to culinary school. :P
Ooh, being a teacher would be fun. =) I like teaching, but I don't think I could handle dealing with a classful of kids...haha. Unless you mean, private lessons?
Really? XD What languages are you taking/do you speak?
If I was good enough, it'd be awesome to be a writer...become rich through writing billions of books. XD Buuuut realistically speaking, I wouldn't mind being an editor or a librarian, though I think my parents would kill me. The only reason my mother accepted that I was majoring in English was because I told her I'm considering going to law school afterwards. :x Like I said, I come from a community/high school where everyone is majoring in something science or math related. So, yeah, my parents keep telling me I'll end up on the streets or something if I major in English...>__> I got off luckier than my sister though. She wanted to major in music, but my mother told her that if she tried to major in that, then she'd have to pay through college herself. So she ended up majoring in Biochem (urgh), which she enjoys, but wasn't her first-choice for a major.
Ah, that explains it. I live in San Jose, which is one hour by plane to San Diego. XP
Nope, I am NOT smart at all...but my mom is still making me apply to Yale, and since I know I'm not getting in (like, no way, esp. since I got a B this semester in two of my classes), that's 75 dollars down the drain. >__>
I wanna major in English. XP
Ooh, a lot of my friends go to art schools. =) It's actually kind of scary, if I consider how practically all of my friends are art majors...D:
Sounds awesome. xP Do you know what job you want after college?
CA is an awesome place, isn't it? Hmmm, I don't think I know any place called San Clemente(?), so I probably don't live close to there, haha.
My art teacher finally emailed me m,y rec, after I sent 9 emails asking him...I feel so bad for pestering him, haha, I cause I know he's hella busy right now. >__> I want to go to Pomona, but my mom is making me apply to Yale, even though there's no way I can get in...such a waste of time/money applying. >__>
I was really happy yesterday that school was finally over (for two weeks, at least) but now I'm hella stressed because I'm doing my college apps and my art teacher said he'd do a letter of rec for me, but he still hasn't. And the deadline is the end of this month. D: If he doesn't remember, I'm so screwed.
Well, there's never snow in California...I hope I never have to drive in the snow. XD Nope, don't have my own car yet. :P How've you been? It's Xmas break right now for us...I'm so happy to be a second-semester senior (I can get Bs without worrying now...)
