well i just realized with the help of some lovely friends that i gotta relearn my kicks the other way to stay consistant with my power. darn getting a move only to find out ya gotta start back at that "man this feels so unnatural that i think i'll never get it!" point...
i'm really not that cute, but it must be the breaking.
only been 3 months! i'm on week 13, so it's the starting week of my 4th month (haha i'm anally keeping track to make sure i'm at least progressing continuously)
i love it though. Last night I finally hit a # of pikes that I stuck for a while. It made my night. =) It's weird, 'cause in the beginning, you start working a move and feel like it's the most awkward movement and that you'll never get it... then it starts getting more and more natural... like when I first learned nikes =P
yeh it's funky... for example (same principle) it's easier for me to get closer to a full pull up (i suck at 'em!) doing them one handed than two... haha b/c i'm off balanced so it works better for me... (one arm stronger)
thx for the compliment: i try to ride somewhere in the happy medium on the looks scale =P
though lately since I started clubbing for bboying... i get crazy amounts of unwanted attention b/c of the breaking... blast it >=(... my boys are supposed to keep the other guys away...
I can't by any means do 90's yet... but I'm just starting to try to get the spin part... my friend's trying to get me to turn my hips out while in a one-handed, but, like with all other hip-control-requiring moves... I can't. Sucks.
But my one-handeds are better than my two-handeds... or at least starting that way. If I want a semi-decent two-handed handstand, I have to start in a one =P...
