The Legend of Drunken Master (Final Fight Scene): Jackie Chan does some bboying. - 10-02-2006, 02:15 PM

Yeah, Jackie Chan does some two-legged swipes, some knee-drops and aerials, so I figured I'd post it. Martial arts and some bboy moves. Pretty intense fight too.

EDIT:
Yeah, just MOVES. Not actual bboyin', but he borrows bboy MOVES. Yeah, just wanna clear that up.

Oh, yeah. I was just to lazy to make the title to long. Originally, I was gonna say:

"Jackie Chan Incorporates Some Bboying Moves Into His Fight With Ken Ho"

Nobody really wants to read that, so, yeah. I just shortened it.

Or it could be the other way around. If i remember right, bboying borrowed some elements from martial arts and that could be it. I can't say for sure though, since martial arts have been around way before bboying has. But if it was the way you say it, then Jackie Chan has some pretty funky drunken style fighting hahaha

Okay, as a practitioner of Northern and Southern Shaolin Kung Fu, I can confirm that some moves were borrowed from Shaolin. However, it was only two or three. The rest were made by bboys. Swipes are a bboy move, and I'm pretty sure the worm was not used in Kung Fu. However, there is this one move that bboys almost left untouched, where the performer does a bridge on his head, then steps with his feet, rotating around his head. I wonder why bboys haven't incorporated that into their sets.
