Unlike most people on this site, I think when Krumping is done well it's pretty dope, but all the same, I've gotta say Ruen and Crumbs ate the Krumpers up, chewed them up and spit them out. They've been winning battles worldwide and training for over a decade, there's no way a new dance style can have the same depth or experience. Still though, it's an interesting battle and it's fun watching our fellow bboys win. Hit up my site if you want to buy it we have krump videos here and tons more. Respect - GRIZ

I thought it was stupid just how they even MADE this. I'm not saying either sucks, I just hate how they even TRY to battle these two different dances. Pride fighters vs. WWE wrestlers? Nope.

Ya kno wut?? Its aight if yall have ya own opinions about thangs n' all...but i jus hate to see krumpin dissed ova n' ova again! Its a part of hip hop, an evolution of hip hop, so i think it deserves respect. I dont care if its poppin, lockin, krumpin, bboyin, or wuteva....each dance is a part of hip hop and deserves respect. Krumpin wuz made as an escape from a lot of da problems kids face out there in da ghetto. It wuz ORIGINALLY done as a way to praise god n' let out emotions. Now i dont get how some ppl can sit up there n' disrespect sumthin like that.
I can understand if u dont liek da way it looks...dats cool...but to sit up there n' diss it, make fun of it, call it stupid.....dats jus wrong. I aint even a krumper, but when done right u can feel all da emotion comin from it. IT takes a lot of heart to dance like dat...da same way it takes a lot of heart tuh bboy. I jus wish dat all u hip hop heads culd give krumpin da respect dat many other heads give bboyin, poppin, lockin, etc. Its a part of our culture now...it deserves respect. Peace n' Love yall!

All I have to say to krumping is that they do express the agression in the dance very well. But all it is is a lot of shakin around. They havent got move names or anything yet they just... I dont even know what theyre doing. Not Even GOD knows what theyre doing.

Hey you can buy the video here at my Street Dance 230+ Video Store CypherStyles.com for 14.95. It's tight seeing Ruen and Crumbs of Killafornia battle the best Krump dancers. Everyones hating on Krumping, but about what you said about them just doing random moves without names that's not true. If you check out any of the "How-To" krumping dvds they have names for all the moves just like we do. I'm definitely not saying bboying isn't harder or more varied or better, but I don't see why we should put krumping down. Checkers is simpler and more straight forward than Chess but it doesn't mean no one should play it or enjoy it.

I think krump is original way how 2 express URself. So there isn't any reason 2 give names to moves. It's natural,it comes from inside...I think it's quite new dance (15 y o, tell if I'm wrong), so we can see some new things in next decade.

Someone tell me if Krumping is related to Hi Hop. I dont think so because its an own dance that didnt grew with hiphop and only because they dance to it doesnt make them the "5th element" does it ?

Interesting question, I'm not exactly sure what makes something a Hip Hop Dance really. Obviously, doing Ballet to Hip Hop wouldn't make it a Hip Hop Dance style, I'm interested in hearing peoples thoughts on what makes a dance style a hip hop dance style.

Krumpin is a hip hop dance. Its moves, foundation, n' style were borrowed from pre-existin hip hop dances such as poppin, lockin, etc. So yea...its a part of da hip hop culture! Hip hop in itself is done wit attitude n' some aggressivness, even some flow like lockin n' breakin! Krumpin is like an extremely aggressive evolution of poppin! It takes hip hop..n' turns it violent in a nonviolent way (as in not actually knockin out a kid's front teeth)..if ya get wut im sayin! Sum of yall like it...sum of yall dont....but i think it shuld get respect! Peace n' Love yall!

Krumpin' is NOT a part of hip-hop! THE DANCE OF HIP-HOP IZZZZZ BREAKIN! all these other dancez that r being made up theze dayz r juz lame excuses for tryin to get into the hip-hop culture. HIP-HOP started back in the 80'z and it consiztz only of the four elementz it waz CREATED with: breakin, emceeing,dj-ing, and graffin. all these other shitz comin out r RAP DANCEZ! I REPEAT RAP DANCEZ and have no right to be associated with the hip-hop culture! moral of the story: BREAKIN is THE dance of hip-hop!

I just don't like how that krump person said bboying was all about the exterior. THAT is what got me off. Other than that, I got mad respect for the dance and everything.
