Angry Does anyone here think that the worm isn't stupid except me? - 02-21-2004, 02:43 PM

All I hear in this forum is that the worm is a retarted move. It may not be the best trick, but you still gotta give credit to the this wierd looking move. It's kind of hard and you can do different styles of it.(backwards, no hands, etc.) It may be just me, but feel free to tell me what you think, aight?

I actually consider it a decent linking move between stuff that makes you end up on your stomach and stuff that requires you to be kneeling, but it gets repetive if you do more than 1 or two bounces.

I definetely agree with you. For example, turtles. You could go into one with the worm, or go out of them with a worm.

Personally, i love the worm, it was the first move i learned, and i can get hella height on it, but, its pretty sloppy when i jump with it, cuz, i get my entire body like three feet off the ground i land hard, nearly breaking my kneecaps. =p

Just my two cents.

I did a headspin, several times, first try! Booyaa grandma!

It was one of the first moves that I learned too. It is a pretty cool move if you can make it look good, y'know?

Just my 1 1/2 cents.

Sure the worm is kinda retarded but so is all breakin' because that's the point!

Break dancing isn't supposed to make you look clever - it's supposed to look weird and funny and...freaky. Stop being so serious!

Worm IS alrite, but i like it as a linking move through footwork or as a kind of kick-up.

But, when people use the worm 20 times for a sole performance, that's when things start getting retarded and make the worm the worst breaking move.

dunno man, my honest opinion is that worms are pretty much a poser move... its like, people who can't break but try to show of will usually do worms cos its a pretty easy move to do lah. but i tink pros do worms more as a linking move rather than moves by itself... thats when they make worms REALLI look good hmm tink i wanna go learn worm variations haha... yup
