The worm can be used in certain circumstances to make it flow/look good/hit beats. But if you go overboard and a buse it..You'll look like some guy/girl having a seizure..This can also apply to other moves that may look weird repeated.

I think its a decent move but no more than 1 or 2 reps. I only use it now if I have a move to combo into/out of it. Like i do some freezes out of it and footwork into it.
or if im bored I do the worm in a circle which always seems to entertain people whether they are a bboy/bgirl or not.. ![]() |

Bboy Salah also has a two worm variations that he does, which I think are the best I've seen. It's probably from his popping background really.
1:43 is his first, watch the sliding worm leading to the backwards one 1:59 is his second, where he uses his forearm and does the worm in a circle. See, breaking is not about "this move sucks and another move is better, so I won't do this move anymore". It's all about how you use the moves you know, and what styles you can add to it to make it dope. You can take something so simple and oldschool and make it work for you. In breaking, we b-boys were never supposed to just take a vanilla move and just use it like that. That's just biting off the inventors of the moves. What we should be doing is taking the basic move, adding our own style and making it ours. Make it harder. Make it faster maybe. Make it better., etc. Make it something that even long-established breakers will say "wow!" or "nice!" to. |

Haha that was dope! It's more like a wiggling fish out of water than a worm, when you look at it. And that breaker is insane haha.
Yeah, see? That dude proves the point too. It's up to you to make a move look good in your own style. |

2:31 is the worm. 1:51 is a crazy backspin and tight headslide at 1:37 |

you can do em however you want. forward, backward, on your back, i even tried on my side once. (didnt work so well)i think forward is least painful for most people though. yes it kills teh nutz. at first anyways. once you get the technique down you can do it so it doesnt hurt. |

I do them but I only do one (no repetition) as a transition to other moves. I do one from standing then from there I start to do downrock.
The point is, all of these moves become better as you master and perfect them to fit your style. |
