There really isn't variation, so most bboys/bgirls dont like it, and in the recent decades its' become VERY cliche. I personally dont like it.

yep, seems like people have forgotten about moves like the worm, bronco and similar old school ones...today people are more focusing on windmills and those popular eyecandy moves for whatever reason...i don't know, everybody's trippin' lately lol
|
|
The moves i'm working on:
airchair, one hand hops, crickets, windmills, shoulder spins, headspins, on-point elbow freeze, handhop -> elbow freeze -> shoulder freeze combo, swipes |

the worm is a flow move that doesnt flow in a circle like most breakin stuff so its hard to incorporate and its just plain lame now adays, its associated with poor taste as far as dance moves go and has a kinda negative stigma around it as an outdated move. like do u see anyone doing disco moves?

not as popular as back then. i've seen people still doing it nowadays. the people who do doesnt go multiple reps, usually only 1 rep. example is like coindrop > worm (1) > babyfreeze or something. or headswipe > backwards worm (1), i think menno does something like this

People only use it as a transition, not as a single move.

i like using the worm but since it's so old school you gotta do it tastefully. there was this bboy, from i think rivers crew, that uses it as a trademark - ending it with a backflip.
