^^^this is the way most people look at it now...but hey if you can do the worm and make it look good then go ahead.

they are used, as a transitional move mainly. the worm is hard to transition into, and out of it there are few things you can do compared to let say, mills. but there are a lot of combo's i know which include the worm, like back handspring, worm, back handspring, back tuck ect.
