Joining A Crew:

So, I am basically a noob.

Close to my place (Thailand) there is a few bboys who dance together every week. I really aint sure if joining them is the correct thing to do?

I really do wanna join them but I dont know how. Can anyone share there experience on how the first joined a team, crew??

I really don't have experience in this area but my advice to you would be to check them dudes and see what they're about, ask yourself is this what you really wanna do. If the answer is yes then ask them dudes if you can get down with them, let them know you're hungry and willing to learn how to Bboy.

remember ur crew is more than some ppl u dance with. a good crew is ur family. homies that u will do any thing 4. so untill u get 2 really like these guys and have a good relation dont join cus that can lead to problems.

the way i know u get in2 crews is u 1st got 2 start breaking with them. and after a while after they feel ur good enough they will invite u 2 join. and if they ask u 2 battle with them, do it.

ill give u an example. me and my crew found a bgirl in our area just recently. and she really wants 2 b down with the crew. me and my crew talked it over. we agreed that if after 1 year she is still sessioning with us and she improved significantly then we will invite her 2 join.

Well, if you want to make sure you want to join them then hang out with them for a while not as a crew member, but just as a friend. After if you feel like you should join them try to be friends with them for a quite a while or you could ask if you could join or try out for their crew and asks how they take crew members in.

If you win a battle and advertise that you have no crew, they might ask you to join.

Like matt said,your crew is your family,so don't go join a random crew full of strangers to you.Start dancing with them and chilling with them,but try to chill with them with other stuff apart for bboy and then see if you like those ppl and if you feel comfortable and if they like you too.And after a while they should ask you to join their crew :P

Session with them alot...and aslo chill with them alot..that really helps...get to know them really good. thats how you get into a crew. they cant pick you up if they dont know you so..session with them alot and train hardcore and impress them at a battle...wait until they ask you to join them...dont ask to join..aight peacee!
