Exclamation B-Boying banned in Public Places!? - 08-06-2008, 05:29 PM

Okay, so today I was with my friend outside at a burger joint. My friend started showing-off some windmills in front of some people and all of a sudden a security guard came and pulled out his pepper spray and threatend to spray us if we didn't leave. We all backed up and were like WTF!?

Most ridiculous thing ever.

Ya, this happened to my crew once. We were in a PUBLIC park (nobody owns it), and theres this public theatre there.
We were breaking there and some security dude came and told us no breaking here - we asked for papers and shit but he was all "I'M telling you to get off"

A lot of people were watching and one of the dudes watching complained to the city council afterwards - Now we can break there whenever we want haha.

Hahaha lmao nice guy I'm not sure who would complain to the city council if it weren't about themselves.

I wonder why breakers can't break in the mall these days before security kicks them out?

Burger place = private property, yes that includes the parking lot as far as I know.

Once... I got kicked out of spencers for doing a headstand. They didn't have a problem with us sword fighting before halloween though.

bboying in public places is fun but could get you into trouble

back in our middle school and high school days, we would go to the arcade every weekend at the mall then when we got bored we would just break outside. the arcade owners were cool with it but not the security guards. we were asked to stop 2 times, not too bad

back then, we didnt take bboying seriously and we were only powerheads so we attracted alot of attention lol. and MN Joe was actually one of the buds that we hung out with breaking in the mall lol i just found out recently that i knew him

I dont understand why breaking is a problem in public places. this one guy called me and my friend out in a mall parking lot then..there was a couple of people watching and next thing you know a security come out of no where and said get out of this parking lot..and if he see's us doing this again we will be banned from the mall for a year...

The mall isn't a public place. So technically they can throw you out for any or no reason.
