I've seen plenty of times where Bboys killed the beat using powermoves.
If that's what you're thinking about. |

machine kinda combine the moves...
there's this friend of mine who's a powerhead, he was wondering the quoted question... so if it's plainly power, i mean continuous powermoves, hitting the beat, would it be considered as killing the beat? |

to kill the beat you have to do more then just a single move
i mean doing a 12 step for 10 minutes wouldnt be killing the beat you actually have to hit every beat per measure to kill the beat or you could kill the beat at parts but id check with the older bboys because i just recently picked up the concept of killing hte beat |

hitting the beat with powermoves is not considered as killing the beat.
hitting the beat with "style moves" is not considered as killing the beat. you have to completely ride the beat. dont expect to hit one obvious beat and then have people say you killed the beat. you have to hit all sorts of stuff. you kill the beat when you are the beat. try and think of it like that. |

killing the beat is when you take that song and you make it yo bitch. just fuckin murder that shit. airflares and flares and handhops, that ain't killin no beat.
he's HITTING a beat. HAHAHA. and he's demonstrating amazing control and mastery over his moves. but to me, that's not killin no beat. you want an example: keebz commited murder this night |
