Why are you people basing your opinions off BC one?
If you're going to judge lilou I'd judge him off this monster battle... If you're going to judge Hong 10... I'm not sure what epic battles he's been in lately. (I don't have the kind of time to stalk people on the interweb anymore...) but this is the newest thing a quick google search netted (added feb '08) I wouldn't say one is better, both are top tier (anyone from top tier can take out anyone else depending on circumstances) If I were to judge them against each other (strengths weaknesses) I'd say Lilou has a much higher level of musicality and definitively more intricate and interesting footwork, Hong 10 has a greater arsenal variety in individual moves, especially in the power department and probably slightly better transitions. Both are often a little shoddy on execution (much more so hong 10 but he covers much better when he misses moves, hell crash recovery is practically the basis of his entire style...) Take whatever you want from my words, Peace |

they both have they're good and bad points. lilou is great with musicology, but on the other hand he is very repetitive in his sets. hong 10 has alot more diversity in what he does, but the only reason he is good at recovering from falls is cause he falls more than most pro level bboys i've seen. personally, i'd take hong 10 over lilou, but only cause i'm pickin the lesser of two evils.

i can't decide, theyre both in my top 10 and they both have good and bad points. i like lilou for his great footwork and freezes and yes he threads a lot but its always sick. and i like hong10 for his smoothness and wicked transitions and over-all style. theyre both great bboys and theres no real putting them against each-other coz it will always come out as personal opinion nd not whos better than who.

honestly, lilou influenced me more, but hong 10 is my favorite. In terms of execution and variety. Just the way everything is put together by hong 10 seems almost rehearsed, IMO but hes so clean, i just got stuck lol. Lilou is amazing also in creativity but i think hes running out of stuff. In 07 bc one his toprock was top notch, but it was because he was afraid (remember 06). but i prefer hong 10. both are dope though.

Lilou feels the music and moves to the music better. Hong 10's toprock is almost typical Korean style. But his moves are so unique and intricate. Nobody does the things he does. Lilou might have more impressive blowups, but they're not really creative IMO, especially when compared to Hong 10. Lilou's moves are based on both skill and technicality. But Hong 10's moves are based on skill, technicality, and originality.
Honestly it's too close. They are entirely different bboys with entirely different styles. I give it to Hong 10 because he's humble. Lilou crosses the line during battles when he touches people and actually pushed The End in one battle (and ran into him in that one up there). |
