So I was watching some vids, and I began to wonder. Why do bboys, (Lilou, spee-d, roxrite)dance with one pant leg raised up? Is there some sort of bboy gang i dont know about?

thats a good question. i think its just 4 looks but there might b another reason.
along the same lines, does any1 know whats up with bboys dancing with their pockets hangin out?? its not as common as the 1 pant leg up thing but i have seen it. any1 know what im talkin bout?? |

also i didnt realize it untill i started doing it, but when you do windmills or any type of move where you spin it looks kinda cool. that and if youve got a style where your hands are close to your body sometimes you can get your hands stuck in your pockets, it stops it. The pant leg thing is just for looks as far as i know, makes me feel cool when i do it so thats just my guess

i was thinking it would attract more attention to the legs when they are doing power mnoves. i guess there could be a more functional use for that but i dont think that it would make it a WHOLE lot difference.

^word, I used to do that a lot when for some reason one pants sleeve always got caught under my heel, and it would totally fuck up my jeans, but now I stopped doing it because they're fucked up anyway

one pant leg up makes your powermoves look a little bit better. cuz bothj your legs look different and to some people your moves will look cleaner. plus another reason i do it, is becuz im short and my pants are a little too big for me and get caught under my heels. its alot easyer to fix one then having to fix both of them.
