right now im trying to lose as much as possible (due to a video at the end of the week that involves me running around with my shirt off for my chem project), and i have this extra flab. so for now, my diet is
breakfast - cereal + OJ, and some coffee of course to wake me up lunch - an apple + another fruit (it usually fills me up because the apple is big as hell) dinner - chicken noodle soup + chicken patty i carry a water bottle in my backpack during school, and i take vitamins in the morning |

I think breakdancing, like any other physical activity and like any other dance, needs plenty of good fluids first and foremost.
I'm new again to breakdance, but when I dance or practice, it's always water, water, water for me. |

yo son i eat mad meals like 8 or nine meals a day and most of that stuff directly before bed but dats whats keepin me from power. but i know fruits and OJ (LOTS OF ORANGES) are really good for your stamina and getting a good breakfast in is very important. other than that watch it like a diet, dont pig out (like me) and keep your fats and sodium low. Just eat healthy. And drink a lot of water. 8 waterbottles a day. It's hard... trust me. In the next couple of days if you start drinking a lot of water youll gain water weight but you'll lose it in about 3 days. Just eat healthy and eat a lot of veggies and fruits.

i eat rice+meat/fish+veggies (typical asian food). and i drink a lot of water (or vitamin water) and when i go out for practice i buy those boxes of sliced watermelon at 7-11! (that shit is good)
so i guess, eat homemade food, fruits, and drink alot of water! |

Ok check it. When I was 15 and started bboying I had no one to practice with no videos (except online forums). Youtube wasn't thought of. So alot of young bboys have it better.
I was 150 solid muscle when I started bboying. I had to quit to raise a family and heal up some injuries now I am at like 220. This is my weekly routine pretty much sum-ed up Mon-Fri wake up eat a banana and a hard boiled egg(1 or 2) lunch- a lean gourmet or something with low cals and low soduim. (this is to trim my weight. dinner- I had some kind of chicken (boneless or skinless prefered). In between all this I am drinking constant water in take and gatorade or monster energy drink. Everyday except tuesday and Fri I am practicing after work for atleast 3 to 4 hours sweating. This helps my body to regain how I used to feel and how I used to be as a bboy. Now with that said. I would like anyone who feels there over weight dont eat nothing thats not good and not healthy. Try to eat 3-5 times a day(Thats what I try to do). If you stay on this consisently you should have no problems handling bboy moves or power or anything. Now I am about 210 or so But before eating right and not dancing I was about 235. I was way overweight and I couldn't stand it. So there is no diet plan to being a better bboy. BBoying is nothing about weight or height. Its about heart and soul. I am a pretty big dude and I can do 90's and airflares and windmillz fine. for my size I am able to lift up to airchair recently. So stop worrying about diets and blah blah crap. Eat right and consume alot of fruit and veggies. Thats all I have to say about that (forrest gump voice) On3 LuV~ Bishop - Ill Minds Crew -Detroit ,Mi |

The one tip I gotta tell you is to eat what's natural. The realer, the better. None of that fake vitamin water shit, just drink water. Another thing is to abandon your taste. Don't just eat what tastes good, eat what's good for you.
I'm making a guide, expect to see it soon. It's coming to a How to Get in Shape section near you. |
