Apply Ice then heat, ice then heat. You might have sprained it or jammed it really badly. If you can still move and feel it it's not broken.

i had that doing footwork too, like a a month and half ago and then twice during a battle like a month ago. i didn't really do anything but applied something cold (energy drinks they were handing out) and afterwards got some weird stuff rubbed on my thumb. and some electric-current making gizmo, that's supposedly is to mend evertything
now my thumb makes cracking sounds all the time, bends a lot less that my other thumb, and hurts occasionally when i apply pressure to it. i guess that didn't help out too much, but anyways, wanted to share ![]() |

I had this problem too.. Only it was probably worse. I kicked my thumb straight on.
You can let it rest, or Bboy on it like I did. lol it took me 8 weeks to heal.. But it still is a LITTLE painful to grip things. Otherwise its pretty good now. It doesnt affect my Bboying. Peace |

Put it in a cup of water and ice and hold it in there for 5 minutes.
