air flares vs. normal flares -
05-29-2008, 01:04 AM
i may be totally wrong but it seems like maybe air flares would be easier to learn than normal flares, cuz air flares your body is almost vertical, which would take some pressure off your arms. i can about do one flare, but maybe i should try air flares first to get the motion down? my handstands are good, so i can support myself vertically
like i said i may be completely wrong, whats ur thoughts |

go ahead try it...it hurts if you don't know what you're doing
but hey one of my homies is getting airflares down faster than his flares and it looks clean too |

I guess for some people it might be easier, because clean flares take a decent amount of leg flexibility, and you can get clean airflares without as much leg flexibility. So i guess if someone has a lot trouble with flexibility airflares may come easier.

I know what you mean thats what I first thought but trust me its not like that at all. I have never heard of anybody finding airflares remotely easier then flares.
