Ouch.. my knee -
05-27-2008, 07:08 PM
Gahh, i forget what i did exactly, it might have been a drop or something or trying to do elbow spins lol.. anyways i landed on my knee..
i knew it should have been fine cause it burned like hell for only 10 seconds after i hit it. this always happens to me though, so i've gotten used to it. BUT my same knee now gets hurt a lot easier (like slight taps make it burn i cant put a lot of pressure that would even nudge my knee cap downwards O.o) it's only been like this for one day, and im pretty sure it'll be okay soon. But i'm still breakin' it hurts when i try to do elbowspins lol XD and a few other things like sometimes in my footwork very slightly. it's not unbearable, but very annoying. I'm gonna keep practicing but maybe not as intense. Is this a good move? i mean, hell, i dislocated my toe, worked on my tops for a day, and got back to breakin the day after and i was fine. and even that was a lot worse than my knee so it should be fine.. but still it's really weird lol.. am i doing something foolish by practicing anyways even though it kills abnormally? |

Are people killing themselves trying to save peoples lives in Iraq? American soldiers are saving us right now. But just play through the pain. Just forget about your pain. Cuz in your like you will always get and have pain. No matter what it is, you will have pain. So just relax and calm down about it, its gonna go away.

Well your kneecap going downwards doesn't sound like it's fine in my opinion.
I suggest not putting to much weight and pressure on it. Check your knees reflex arc if you can. lol cause if you damage that knee even more it could make it harder for you to breakdance. |

k.
But...... If I had a problem, my parents wouldnt take me to the doctors/hospital.... :/ Its all nature over here. Where I am. Just ask yourself, though. Is it really that big of a deal? Some soldiers over in Iraq have bullets in them, and they dont complain about that.... It's all about just going through it. Cuz do you think that the doctors are magiclly going to stop pain all of your like? For a year and a half, I had this problem with my feet, I couldnt even walk on with them, and my parents didnt take me to the hospital/doctors. And then.... Guess what happened..... It went away. So if you would rather spend $500 for some useless stuff, you can use that money on gasoline right now. Im sorry for being like this to you, but im just tired that people always have to post things up of useless threads about pain and injuries.... When I had my feet problems, there fine right now. So just dont listen to this stuff. " You should go check it out, or it might get worse. " Dont believe that. My feet are just fine right now. They hurt for a little bit, for a little while, but there fine right now. And so its a good time to work on your power moves. And sorry for being a mean person right now. ![]() |

u probably bruised it. if u still have full range of motion in your knee, but when you apply pressure it hurts, you probably bruised it. Use the RICE method. Rest, Ice, Compress and Elevate. If I were you, I would take a day or two off from breaking. If you don't want to go that far, then do only stuff that doesn't use your legs and that doesn't put weight/pressure on your knee. Just make sure to give it some time to heal.

look i don't mean to be a prick.. but JKL.. are you stupid?
of course soldiers endure harsher conditions and deal with pain in different ways ...they are TRAINED for that shit... now... i agree with you on the fact people post too much bullshit when they are gonna be fine a few days later...but instead of just saying deal with it.... give helpful advice... BBOYRTHYM.... i suggest ya use the RICE method AURO suggested... if in a few days you feel no differenece in the pain...i think you should seek some assistance whther it be a physio / doctor or whatever.. really ask yourself though... how bad is the pain outta say .. 10... if its 3/10.. chances are you'l most likely be fine in a few days rest time using the RICe method... if it is say 7/10... and stays that way ... i suggest seek the help bro.. some people have different pain tolerances but good luck with your injury.. |
