so im goin to my first jam this weekend
battle at the burn (in auburn,ny)

and i was sposed to go with 3 of my friends but they all backed out. i really wanna go so ima go alone. could you guys tell me what to expect when im there
do's donts etc
just tips basically, cause as the week starts im kinda nervous about it

Bring yourself water and food. And I'd personally would want a backpack so I can put my stuff in at the side. And I wouldn't throw down when someone is doing their set, or when the cypher seems to have their own little 1v1

as nervous as you are go and do a set or a couple throw all the other shit out the window your adrenaline will carry you through look when i did my first jam i crashes on a baby freeze HAHAHA! so yea if you fuck up it doesn't matter nobody is gonna laugh at you and you won't even know if you fuck up just do your thing and screw everything else

Don't go by yourself if you're not going to dance. I went to my first jam alone and it was ass for me because I didn't dance. Then I went to my second jam and had a blast dancing and being a part of the event and shit. It's always good to have someone with you though.

well when i say going alone i mean im driving alone, im meeting 2 of my friends up there who are competeing but im not. i was going to compete then i tore my hamstring, lost major steps and mad power so im not anymore. but as the week went on now 2 guys are goin with me (non bboys) and 1 girl (one of my friends whos competeing, his gf)
