I was meaning to get back into bboying but wrestling season kinda held that back. Anyway, I still have most of my moves for a regular routine (hopefully I wont screw up my mills), but I have one problem.
I put on the music to regular dance and I cant stop the TOP ROCK from coming out! and I try to make it into a regular dance but man it looks weird ha. This is pretty ridiculous most people look at me as a great dancer because when I bboy but Im a little shaken here.
Get dance skills over night ..really I don't know, I just recently found out I can't dance even though I can bboy. All I can think of is have fun with her..Make up your own dance.
I'm not sure if that's what he meant, but for me if you can't dance any other way aside from b-boying (i.e. you can't just 'groove') then you need to start getting your groove. Without a basic groove, you're not really putting any heart into your dance.
But that's what I'm sayin...if you can't 'groove' your ass can't bboy. Your jus a monkey doing bboy moves..so what. And like you said, if ya can't do it then it needs to be worked on, because otherwise you're just a robot doin tricks.
i cant really people dance too well, so i usually end up bboying. one thing for sure is that if you do crazy things (that look outlandish) and arent bboying, people will still eat it up.
