Doing a little project. I'd like to know, as bboys/bgirls, what do you like to rock in the most (shirt wise)?
Do you go for the shirts that have the real funky colors or the shirts with the dope meaningful phrases? Does durability play a part? What about quality of the shirt? gimme feedback please! |

I like fresh stuff with good color combos. Also things with good sayings and what not. Pants are normally just durable jeans.

Where do you usually go to shop for clothes? Like I usually dance in comfortable stuff, but i always like to look good. Cuz I don't wanna be ripping the set up in a torn up short falling off my shoulders. Haha. But I practice in what ever, usually sweats and a white V neck Tee.
But, I go shopping at like white boy stores, and add a flavor of hip hop later. Because black People pants are too big, and I can never find a pair that are my size. I only find like size 42's and stuff. .................. Black boys think if the pants arn't falling off your ass then they're not hot........ sadly mistaken Ghetto wannabe's, I pray for my people. Hahahahah |

cool cool.. and ya our people are somewhat backwards right now hahahahhhahahha!
alright, so if i had to ask, would you buy a shirt with some fresh colors with a weak phrase over a shirt with some dull colors with a dope phrase? and another question: do you like the "to the point" phrases or the "write a paragraph" phrases? LOL thx for all the replies.. really helpin me out here. |

I would definitly go for the fresh color and a weak phrase, and to the point phrases.
The fresh color makes people focus more on you They look over to you and say wow look at that guy![]() |

It's nice to look fresh for jams and stuff, but won't your clothes and shoes get roughed up while you're rolling and sliding around on the floor?
It would make me sad to buy some awesome gear then end up getting the colour sanded off my shirt lol. Personally I don't really like phrases, I'd go for a combination of colours and patterns... just to answer your question and keep this post on topic xD. |

anything that is comfortable. even at jams I prefer to be comfortable and dance good without looking good, then looking good and not being able to move comfortably

hah I like longer pants so I can fold the bottoms (small cuff), and rock some high tops with the tongue out. After that Tee's really, I'm into short to the point phrases. But at the same time I don't need a phrase to like the shirt. Bold colors and shirt shoe combos work for me most. then a nice blazer/wind breaker to top it off.
But I like having stuff no one has, so I met a couple of customizers, and when I can afford it, I send my clothes off to them and they make it unique. But I'm broke, any one have a job opening in the Atlanta area? Hahaha |
