What annoys you during a battle?

me, i hate it when the opponent is singing while dancing. I hate it when they jump in the middle of ur set to do something either better than you or to ride a beat such as apache or pumpin jumpin. and i hate it when people do cliche things like pointing at there thigh or knee during the song "they want efx"... sry stylisticsmiley

idk, i have nothing wrong w/ ppl mouthing the lyrics and act em out; it shows they kno the song. if theyre jumping in during my set, gg im gonna bust out my coffee grinder and own them

i hate it when the other guy is talkin a bunch of mess...but i like it at the same time cuz it makes things more lively haha
it ticks me off when the dj changes a song in the middle of a set.... or when the dj goes from a dull song during my set and as soon as i finish he/she changes it to a hype song...............................wacktastic

no problem showing that you know the beat. but do something other than cliche stuff. like play with the beat, do a freeze when u know theres a pause in it. shit like that u know?

I don't battle since I don't know nor have ever seen another BBoy in RL, but I watch a ton of them.

I think the single most annoying thing I've ever seen, and it pisses me off big time is battles between large crews, when one guy does a good move and the whole fuckin crew runs in screaming OHHH and jumping up and down pointing. Then the other crew jumps in at the same time and 1 or 2 guys try and duplicate the move or do something better to shut them up. Now there's 20 idiots on the floor at the same time and it looks like a riot instead of a battle. We're watching the battle, we saw the move, we don't need you pointing it out. Sit the fuck down and show some respect to the person actually on the floor.

mouthing the word/singing it to yourself would help you feel the song better. if you're just getting lost in the music, then there's no problem with that, just don't get too lost. save it for the cyphers.

in competition battles, i don't like bboys who play to the crowd instead of focusing on the battle.
i'm cypher battles, it's fucking annoying when some idiot who's not paying attention interrupts the battle and starts cyphering

and yeah, at this point, the knee/thigh pointing shit shouldn't be done anymore. gotta do something more creative than that.
while we're on creativity, it's wack when bboys do 6 steps, 3 steps, 2 steps, 12 steps, CCs, windmills, flares, etc. and think it's enough. where's the originality at?

It's all about the music man. The more you feel it the better you dance. All my KOBO sets were freestyled to the music.

Anyways, it's annoying when kids do the "cock" every 3 seconds in their sets and act like they're dope because of it.
