I can completely agree with that. I also get annoyed when hosts/MCs don't keep track when the battle is supposed to end. I'm not particularly fond of 3-way battles and showcases-formats either.

I dont like it when they get to close to me in their footwork where i have to move out of the way..for one it shows bad control and two its annoying as shit, and i dont like it when the dj talks and yells to much random shit during a good song..

Some dude pushed me one time after I did my set and was walking back to my side. Really ticks me off.

The "cock"... yeah... its funny, but very unnecessary if you do it before, after, and in between every one of your sets.

People who lose control of their power and make you move out of the way like you need to throw a red carpet out for them.

People who lose their shoe in the middle of a set... common... tie your shoes fuckers.

for example: killafornia. dont flame me 4 this but a lot of killafornia battles iv watched they were being strait douche bags. like "killafornia vs kuckle headz cali" and "killafornia vs battle monkeys"
and freakazoid. hes actually 1 of my favorite bboys but he can b a jerk.

I've intentionally taken a few hits from powermoves in said situations... if I know you're gonna do it and I know it's not going to kill both of us I'll take the hit and throw you a little "tsk tsk" sign, hell that alone won me a round in a 7 2 smoke a few weeks ago that I totally shouldn't have won otherwise.

Seriously, when someone does 60 one hand hops you may scream, but not with a baby freeze.

idk it sounds like a lot of these pet peeves i read about in this thread arent from jams but more like... middle school battles or something. i mean people grabbing your beanie in a battle? nobody's done that since i was in 8th grade and for sure NO bboys do that in the middle of a battle unless you drop it yourself (and they usually return it to you instead of mess around with it)

fareal, some of these things wouldn't even be seen in an actual jam. forget about middle school battles they dont mean anything
