I really hate those "breaks" that everyone dances to. Like that DJ M@r shit. It's like watered down techno with random sound effects in it. Wtf. I also don't like how people dance to old ass music from the 60s that has no energy in it. I know there are a lot of old songs from that time that have nice beats, but I've seen a lot of wack shit posted in the DJ Forum. Personally, I'll rock a song that makes me want to dance. Like "Stereotype" by Inspectah Deck or "Get Up, Get Into It, Get Involved" by James Brown.

DO NOT RUN FROM WISDOM. RUN TOWARDS IT.
If I say a word and you don't know what it means, don't be too lazy to look it up. Don't be afraid to learn new words, don't be afraid to speak other languages, don't be afraid to learn about other cultures. Peace, God bless. |

Personal favorite to rock to is Up from the South by th Budos band, right now tho the hypest i would have to say is Beggin', that gets me every time. The songs that i dont like are the ones that are outrageously fast and impossible to dance to. Like 135+ BPM

i think all is good as long as its got a beat to break to its good, the more variety of songs the better you will learn to break.

Most played out... Mexican, even though I still like it haha
Most popular... Jimmy Castor Bunch, Its Just Begun, this isnt just me talking, it has the official title. Worst... hard to say because the worst one would be something that people never even use to break, or if your talking about the worst well known break.. then thats like the worst of the best. Hypest... Beggin, The Grunt, and hella James Brown tracks get me everytime. |
