I'm pretty pissed because my Filipino popper friend who like hasn't started that long got told by these guys. Like he said he went to the mall like last week and he was just popping for fun and then these guys went up to him and started popping and telling him to stop dancing because he sucks and stuff. What jerks really pisses me off, especially since he hasn't gotten much experience.

Tell him that if anything it was a learning experience. He has learned what it feels like when it happens to him so that he won't do it to others when he becomes as far along as the "dance jerks" were.


And hey, I get it all the time. For me, it's an incentive to push myself and try harder to learn and practice, because basically your friend is probably better than me.

yeah he's sort of using it as a motive i'm guessing what i did when my friend said i wasn't that good (not the words, but yeah) and my footwork got way better. i think my friend will manage probably, but like he probably doesn't feel so good about himself. he wouldn't have been able to screw you to them because there was like 4 or 5 guys.

hey man dont tell them to fuck off thats stooping to their level. just take my advice and be sure you tell him. if he uses it to get better then its doing the exact opposite of what those guys wanted which was telling him to quit

Thanks I'll tell him I agree. I'm sure he'll get better at a faster pace more motivation and he's probably going to be more persistent, but like he might be a bit down for now, but he'll get there.

partly,those were sum arrogant bboys lol they were lyk 25 or so and i was 15 back then,they told me to stop i mean then again there comes this lil chick n does their wack dance lol ,anyways i got sosososososos mothafckin pissed off and started to break every single day til nowadays(ok now i got the flue since 8 days,so it's an exception -.-) in hope to show em that girls can break tooooo!! but damn i never found em again because i was was on a trip in a big city when i met em,

The people who are dicks in the dancing world are never really that great. They usually talk down to people because they're not that good or they're just assholes. Most Bboys, Poppers, Lockers, etc. are nothing like that. Tell your friend just to ignore these kids.
