jam was fun, the rock the beat part took longer than it should've...
wasn't really fond of the top 8 out of 45 crews either...didn't really matter thou, it was hard to see over those ppl, who were standing up, sucks that i'm short.

my car was towed (it was total bullshit, but explaining it is just gonna piss me off some more) i barely edged my way past the fine and an extra money for the parking...bullshit they were scaming together i just know it.
and barely made it home, because had little money for gas, glad i got some connections in tenn.

thanks to zapper who was offering to help us.

there were lots of HOTTT girls, i tell ya what, i'd say girls out numbered guys, thats a first.
the place was PACKED FULLL!! barely any place to move and cyphers beside cyphers beside cyphers haha. i dunno i'm probably exaggerating, i was soaked up in adrenaline!

Mijo is hella dope, and his crew. they won it.
goo goo from jive turkeys, that 11 or 10 year old, dances soooooooooo goood!

i did what i could in the showcase battle thing...too bad us and the crew we battle didn't make the cut.

oh and 4f was missing, i was kinda dissappointed..dengg haha

but getting to see mason boy's hollow's in person made me feel better lol

probably biggest and farthest jam i'm going to in a while

weekend rocked... though yeah, a few things were slight downers, but not too bad. Epidemic: sorry to hear about all the trouble! car and whatnot... that sucks and makes things way more difficult and frustrating and puts a damper on good stuff.

Cyphered all night: crazy fun... and yeah, the cyphers kept forming, disbanding, reforming in new areas, etc... hah! Workshops (made the end of them) were nice, wish I could've made 'em all but our schedule for arriving got messed up w/ car issues... we ended up leaving to head up there 'bout... 5-6 hrs later than planned.

Hung out with YNot, Q, DCent, PawFlo, all my D.A. guys and gals, plus some all weekend... so that rocked. Got to chill with HBO and cypher w/ 'em too.

Afterparty was like a giant practice session... pretty cool, but I know lotsa people were pretty tired too.

on another note,DOES ANYONE HAVE THE BATTLE BETWEEN WSK n BURN UNIT. the battle happened near the stairs. if you got it please post it up. this battle was a heated one also and was comin from a mile away..

p.s. i hate pyro

here's my long ass review:
Venue: Rocketown is a killer venue...great sound, good floor, dope area for the DJ's, plenty of space, unbelievably friendly staff, and they have food and decent bathrooms. I always love DJ'ing here, there's rarely a single hassle and if you need something, the staff bust their ass to get it for you.

The Music: I was really only at the jam to play the beat rock comp and the after party, which I felt I did well at...but I'm pretty biased. I was digging Franco De Leon's stuff during the cyphers. And basic was killing the battles. Sekone played a house set later on which created probably one of the hypest cyphers all night. I don't think I've ever seen an entire cypher dancing along with the person in the middle. lol

The jam: Cyphers EVERYWHERE. Easily the best part about the jam. Everytime I turned around there was an ill cypher. I still can't dance due to a knee injury so was just filming for most of it but I had a hard time deciding which cypher to check out...that's definitely a good problem to have. As somebody else mentioned, there was a wide variety of dancers...b-boys, b-bgirls, housers, lockers, poppers, freestylers...it was just dope seeing everyone sessioning together. The workshops on Friday were great, only got the last few minutes of Ynot's and Sneeks' House workshop but learned a lot. The after-party on saturday was dope, a giant practice session basically. And for people that complain about the lack of girls at jams...go to Bashville.

The battles: I've been to every bashville except the first and the amount of crews entering was huge. Easily the biggest one yet. It made time a huge issue which is why it had to go to Top 8 as opposed to top 16. But the top 8 battles were ILL. Motion D. killed it all the way through and texas was reppin' hard with WSK and Jive Turkeys. I felt that Unique Styles should've gone further...didn't really think their tie breaker was necessary. Overall, I was happy with the judges decisions.

I've already heard some of the improvements that Q's lookin to make and I can't wait for the next one. It's just gonna be bigger and better.

I was hoping to get a cd or two done in time for this jam but it just didn't happen unfortunately. Hopefully I'll have some done in the next couple of months.
