"heres a tip: i like to make lots of sets. to see what flows, i just think, "Do a random toprock!" so i do that. next i go, "do a footwork!" and i try to flow well into it. next, i think, "do a _____!" and i do that, making sure it flows.
do that for awhile."-Gloves |

I don't know about everyone else but...converses are gay. :[
It's heavy on the bottom, drags my footwork, creates too much friction, hurts the inside of the foot, once again too much friction in the toprock...I just hate the shoe now. D: Yes, though, it is quite fashionable. Puma suede, are they light and comfortable as people say? I tend to drag my feet on it's side sometimes, obviously it'll affect the shoe, but is the surface a strong texture? When you wear the shoe, does it go below the ankles? I just need to have those questions answered before going off and buying a random shoe. :P |

^ I haven't had the suedes for that long and hardly worn it so i can't comment on the durability but yes it's hella comfortable.. every single pair of trainers i've tried in shops has at least part of them which is uncomfortable..
I was a bit.. wary(?) of ppl saying how comfortable they are and also buying from a site without trying them on, but they are real nice. I'd take the plunge ![]() |

So some good shoes to bboy in are the velcro ones that old men wear that come
from walmart hahahaha... i know it sounds funny but then there light and are cheap if you dont drag you feet alot then they last pretty long too |

Many people on this thread have recommended suede pumas. are suede shoes better or more comfortable? why? and how do they compare with leather or canvas shoes?

I like to break in a pair of Nike Cortezes. They're light, and have a cushion that feels amazing when you do footwork. My only complaint is that after a while your feet start to get hot because the air circulation isn't that great. But it isn't really that big of a problem.
