Love em Hate em Much Needed Aspect of Bboying Not a "REAL" bboy, more "breakdancer" i dont really feel like a bboy, cuz i focus on windmills more than anything else.... |

oh ya ill practice style and stuff every other practice sess but i work on power and blow ups the most. and i top rock every day, top rock is too much fun to not practice all the time.

powerhead cant go one on one....
just take cico and the end for examples,they only last couple of round in red bull bc one...because they do repeated move... |

Powerheads expres theirselves with power.
And last time I checked bboyin was all about expressing yourself through the music and dance. It's their way of dancing. so please don't bitch and just respect it already. So yeah, powerheads are bboys |

if all u do is power then u r not a bboy. power is a part of bboying and i'm not saying when all u do is power then u r not dancing. but u have to have the other fundamentals of this dance to call it bboying.
it's like when people call rap music hip hop. like hip hop is a genre of the music. rap is a part of hip hop but's it's not hip hop. hip hop is the whole. as far as power being needed in bboying. . . the answer is definitely YYYYYYEEEEEESSSSSSS (YES). no matter how gimmicky some people use power, it still gets a lot of people involved in this dance. just my opinion and no disrespect to the power heads. one |

powerheads are the ones who got me into bboying, my goal at first was to learn airflares (lol), but when i started learning more about stuff like style, i got more directed toward freezes and found i have more fun doing freezes :P

Power is one of the main reasons that distigushes our dance from any other dance. That's why the girls love us haha.
Yeah I know, rocking the beats is hella fun, but damn busting out some power feels reall good lol. Hitting beats with power...I've seen that and from what everybody else says of dancing, then last time I checked...that's dancing. Too me, in the end of it all, it doesn't really matter if you want to be a powerhead or a stylehead, beacuse if you can't get creative with neither, you're not going to get anywhere. Creative powerheads rox my soxs and creative style makes me scream. Yo, the floor is the canvas... |

hitting the beat with your power does not mean you're dancing. it means you have good control and technique in your power.
you won't know what it means to truly dance and express yourself until get lost in the music and enter your own world. i do power all the time, but i know it will never feel the same as the feeling i get when i'm really rocking the beat. |
