Gambler Crew Is Giving Lessons?!?! - 08-13-2007, 05:50 AM

yup, that's right, i just read on youtube.com that gambler crew is givin' bboy lessons! HOWEVER, they charge $300 a month, but the good thing is you get to pick which crew member will teach you. i know you're probably wondern' where i saw this on youtube, so i'll tell you...it was acctually found in one of the posted comments on one of gambler crews' bboy move tutorials.

i'm on a quest to be the best bboy i can be, so i want to be tought by the best!...that being said, if anyone decides to go on youtube and search for it themselves, and finds it please post a link! the reason i ask that is cause' i forgot WHICH gambler crew bboy tutorial it was that had the comment about the lessons in it, but i'm POSITIVE about what i read.

actually i believe they charge more than that, and where did you hear this "pick which crew member" thing???????? that comment from youtube is most likely inaccurate; gamblers charges a LOT of money for lessons; consider the plane ticket cost too

with the plane ticket thing, i meant not only do you have to pay for the lessons, but you pay for YOUR plane ticket there too, which is gonna be a considerable amount

they dont charge that much... its about $9.50 canadian per 70 minutes during summer sessions. some much less reputable bboys here in the americas charge WAY more than that per hour. but yes, the plane ticket does compensate more lol

I'd probably much rather learn from Rivers or Drifterz but that's just me. Born from Rivers speaks a decent amount of English, in fact i think most Korean bboys should speak at least a bit of English as most students learn it in school in Korea and it's an important subject. Unless the information i have is wrong about Korean schools, which it could be...

When you teach something like bboying or martial arts you don't even have to speak. Certain martial arts were meant to be taught with no speaking and I think the same can be done with bboying. Certainly it is harder but very possible.

some guy came on here awhile back and said he went to one of these...he had reverse power of pretty much all standard power but air power and had like "every freeze" there is. i think he said it was like 600 bucks a month for like 2 hours a week or something

Word to that my borthea. I wouldn't want gamblers touching me cus mostly its power(not generally saying powerheads suck) I'm more of a style than a power head, but it would be cool if i learned a "few" things from them.
