You cannot judge between 2 different styles of dancing. Thats like a dance off between jazz and ballet dance. Secondly, asking on a b-boy forum most will vote b-boy just for pride and Same if you would to ask on a krumpers forum. Thirdly, I dont think there are any advanced krumpers on this forum that could actually judge the performance by the krumpers equally to the b-boys. What i mean is that, and i think many of us will agree, when we first looked up on breakdancing on the internet we saw the Junior clip from Red Bull BC 2004 and fought he was the shit, now that we are more experienced in b-boying we know he isnt that amazing. Thats just an example of how you cannot completely judge something right if you have no experience in the matter.
So yeah, im not trying to bitch, but comparing 2 styles of dance is stupid imo. |

I bboy to discover and extend my physical abilities, to better understand the correlation of music and dance, and to further personalize the culture of bboying. What do you bboy for?
Hip Hop is a revolution of artistic standards. A revolution of music from beat-making, dance from bboying, poetic knowledge from freestyling, drawn/sprayed art from graffiti. Who're still aiming to revolutionize? Or are these simply standards of a newer genre nowadays? -Unofficial Deignorizer |

Hey Jp respect to ur first long post, lol. Ur right, everyone got into break'n cuz they saw Junior in redbull, n thought he was the shit, including me, now I know, that he...well..he ai'nt all that, like u said or w/e.
Also made a good point, about most bboys here not being able to udnerstand how good krump might be cuz they are..bboys..n not krumpers..worD to that. Another good point you made was...you cannot compare dance styles, thats true eh. I guess they are all better in their own way(s). Although the breakers, who were phenomoninal on the floor n with their freezes, power moves, n tricks...were crap in their toprocks. They should have done more standing up, u know their prolly those breakers who started off doing power moves, thats ok n all..but when ur repp'n bboy'n, you should know how to toprock well, especially in a battle against another dance style. Mehhhh, oh well. The music was sikk man, i dunno why most bboys wanna listen to old school hip hop, screw that, you should be able to dance to any kind of hip hop using bboying. o ye n..Khris Kaos isn't qaulified to teach shit, his krump is shit, everything he does is shit, hes just some ugly quack. |
