Last jam I went to was the Mighty 4 Backburner. Fuckin awesome idea for a jam. It was at an indoor skatepark and they had a skate competition inside with a dj and breakin circle outside. The Red Bull truck showed up and started passing out free red bulls. After all the crews showed up and it started getting dark, everyone moved inside for the bboy battles. There were some good battles but the final between Brickheadz and Motion Disorderz made it well worthwhile. Mijo absolutely killed it. Small jam but one of the better one's I've been to. Well run with great bboys and a great concept. So yeah. I'll be at New Hope today so i'll let you guys know how that goes. Peace.

*Edit* - I'm about 4 guys to the right and 2 behind the person taking this video, so I don't think you can see me in those vids.

Vids from The Backburner:
Part 1:

Part 2:

I took footage of the pre-battle circle. You can see it by registering at Boiler Breakers -- Purdue University Breakdance Club and visiting our members section.

My last jam was pretty cool. My prelim vid is in my gallery, but if you want to check out the jam, YouTube "True Professionals".

I dunno what else to say about it. Oh. I was pretty happy because in all the battles I was in, I didn't do a single airchair (I don't count my elbow airchair as one cuz I don't do that often). Yes, that's a big deal to me. I do airchairs a lot.

Went to see New Hope Chicago last week. I promised the girl that i'd take her out to a movie that night so I only ended up staying for the first few battles. I'm pretty sure I should know by now that when they say a jam starts at a certain time, nobody shows up until 3 hours AFTER that time. Doors opened at 4, I showed up around 5:15 and battles didn't really start until 8:30. Oh well. It was a good time though. Alot of good crews, the DJs were mixing live up in front and everyone else was either playin ball, practicing or talking to other crews. I thought I had it made at first because they let everyone in free until about 7:45... then they kicked everyone out and made us pay. I would have paid the $15 extra for a camera if I didn't have to leave by 9:30. But anyways, it was a great event from what I was able to see, alot of good crews and bboys were there as well. Until next time... Peace.

Here's one of the first round videos from New Hope Chicago. I'm sitting to the right of the Immortals (the crew on the right). Unfortunately, the camera man was too fucking lazy to turn the camera when people walked to the right so you can't see me. If someone finds a vid of one of the first few rounds with a shot to the right side, let me know and i'll point myself out.

I was at the Jam too sitting to the right of the Immortals. Hmm I probably saw you. I was one of the first people there I was there at ~4 o' clock, normal height asian kid maybe with a grey Scion hat, shorts and a like sand colored t shirt. You probably saw me.

typically jams start and doors 'open' for cyphering etc... and battles start much later. Even when they say a battle starts at a certain time, it's rarely actually on time.

Last jam I went to was in Athens, GA. Let's just say some people left rather unhappy as many people got robbed, including many of my friends. I wasn't planning on battling, especially since I hadn't been dancing for the last two weeks or so since I had just gotten back from Hong Kong, but my friend ended up signing us up and we went at it. Sucks that we were a little confused and thought it was two rounds each when it was just one. But still, it was fun being with my boys and hanging with our TN peepz that came down for it as well.

I got video, just haven't uploaded it yet. Sadly, it was really dark in there so it was hard to film well, but yeah. No footage of me in there since I was filming: prolly a good thing :]~

Cheerz.

Wait... you're asian? I could have sworn you were white... with the mini-fro? There with 2 other guys... I think you were up front dancing by yourself when I walked in, lol.

I was sitting to your right on the bleachers... Gray shirt, jeans, green/white shoes... kept fucking up the baby to hand-hops on the side. lol. I was feeling out of it at the moment, prolly didn't even say hi to you.

Yeah... you had white and green Puma Suedes. Damn this is weird.

Also, I look white 'cuz I'm half white half japanese.

EDIT#2: Wait. I look like I have a mini-fro, that's weird.

I left like the same time you did. I talked to the guy who uploaded those 2 videos from New Hope and he said that he would upload more.
