Hip Hop Toolbar v.1.0

Whats up all you hip hop heads out there!

As some of you may know, I'm the webmaster of Purdue's Bboy Club website and lately I've been coming up with a few tools here and there to keep everyone in the know in regards to the hip hop scene.

Our newest feature is the Boiler Breakers Toolbar (beta), which became functional as of yesterday. By installing the toolbar, you can access a google search bar, links to our website (which you can disable if you'd like), bboy, hip hop, and djing news feeds, hip hop radio as well as a special youtube feature section that's straight from our "Video Stash". Also included is the bboy.org chatroom as well as local weather and a popup blocker (that you can enable if you don't already have one).

Please note that this was developed for the Purdue Breakdance Club, and is spyware, virus, adware, pop-up, ad and spam FREE. It's easy to disable and even uninstall and we'll never share your personal info with anyone. Seriously, I'm not kidding. This toolbar is the shit and it's completely legit too. Because the toolbar is loaded from our site, you never have to re-install the toolbar to get updates or changes to the toolbar itself (which may happen often because it's still in the construction phase).

Because I'm a loyal fan and member of bboy.org, you will be seeing a new BBOY.ORG toolbar option in the near future in which you can switch between the Boiler Breakers and Bboy.org toolbars depending on which you like better.

If you want to wait to install the toolbar when the bboy.org section is up and running, thats fine with me, but personally I'd install it now to get the benefits of all the cool stuff included in the current version.

^This toolbar renders the google/yahoo etc toolbars obsolete....i love the radio station thingy...but i cant conect to the'True hip hop' station..all the other 1's work though...i love the 'News' button aswell and that FEATURE button aswell..and the BB LINKS...daymzz..i love this tooolbarrr hahahaha *Cyber kiss*

As for the "True Hip Hop" Station, the radio station is a live stream so pressing the pause button can cause it to stop playing. To fix it, just press stop and then play. If that doesn't work, try refreshing the toolbar by clicking the arrow next to "Boiler Breakers" and then clicking Refresh Toolbar. Your last option is make sure you're in IE. You may have a problem with windows media player, and Internet Explorer (not firefox) will tell you if theres and error by displaying an exclamation point next to the play button (click to see the error and download the necessary radio patch). If that still doesn't work... just try again at a later time. 90% of the time it's something to do with the actual radio stream... which I don't own and therefore I can't fix. It's working great for me right now though (in both IE and Firefox).

Also, if you guys have any other questions/suggestions/comments, feel free to post them here.

Toolbar Update: We have now joined forces with the bboy.org chatroom. It is now the official toolbar chatroom.

*The Bboy.org toolbar beta version is up and running! Click on the + on the far left of the toolbar to choose between the "Bboy.org" and "Boiler Breakers" Toolbars. The bboy.org toolbar has a LONG way to go though. Right now it has chat, message box, and the bboy.org links. There will be more coming soon if I can team up with Tane to get some cool stuff added on.
