Magic, U need to stop worrying about gay guys and start worrying about how to get your damn cell phone working.
I don't think they'd be shunned away. I've personally never met a gay or bi person that breaks, but im sure their are as good as anyone. Is there any gay pro bboys? No, right? ...I never thought about that. It don't matter if u gay or not when it comes to breakin. As long as you can eat a watermelon. |

I don't think gay bboys yell I'M GAY in every battle..
So yeah there must be some gay bboys around, but I think they'd keep it a secret, to protect themselves from the insults most 'hiphoppers' make. |

Whatever man, bboys dance, and gay people can dance just fine. So I say, who cares, I'm not interested in what you do in the bedroom, it's what you do on the floor and what kind of person you are.

I bboy to discover and extend my physical abilities, to better understand the correlation of music and dance, and to further personalize the culture of bboying. What do you bboy for?
Hip Hop is a revolution of artistic standards. A revolution of music from beat-making, dance from bboying, poetic knowledge from freestyling, drawn/sprayed art from graffiti. Who're still aiming to revolutionize? Or are these simply standards of a newer genre nowadays? -Unofficial Deignorizer |

Yeah, i mean who gives a shit what someone does outside of bboyin, if u've got the skillz bring 'em to the table, then go home, and be a homo...i have no problem with bi, or gay bboys, or bgirls for that matter lol. Being bi, or gay, or lesbian doesn't affect the way they break...

Hip hop culture in general is not very open to homosexuals. Not in a affirmative way, though. It's more like the "silent treatment." I think many hip hop people would feel uncomfortable divulging it if they were gay. Or, from the other side, gay people are discouraged from joining hip hop culture because it is not welcoming to them.
I lost a battle to a gay bboy though. At least, I assume he was, since it was at a gay bar. I had better popping but he had more endurance than me, and busted out a crowd pleasing windmill in the last round. |
