One Bboy Has To Be The Best Right..? And Now Don't Come With Some Bullshit Like Theres Always Somebody Better Cuz 1 Bboy HAs To Be The Best.. But... Take A Mediocre Bboy.. (Kinda Like My Level) When He gets as Good As The Pro Bboys Of Right Now.. The Pro Bboys Of Now Will Be Retired.. But The Mediocre Bboy Will Be Old.. And Lately, The Younger Bboys Are Getting Better And Better.. So What I'm Tryna Say Is.. How The Hell Can Some Bboy be The Best..? Cuz Everytime There Will Be Some young Bboy To Take Over.. I believe there is nothing like "somebody's better".
The truth is; NObody is better. Everyone has his/her own style and it's a matter of opinions to decide who's the best. I'm not saying shit like "there's always someone that's better". I'm just saying that there cannot be the best. You also can't start a huge competition, because the outcome is based on the OPINION of the judges. |

Exactly what he said. There's just too many different styles out there that can't be placed in the same category. How you gonna judge the best abstract bboy against a power head? Or a footwork bboy against a flexible bboy?
Asking who the best bboy is, is like asking who the best artist is. Is it Picasso? Da Vinci? You can't answer it. They're both amazing in their own way. |

Its impossible for their to be a best bboy. Because one bboy might have some dope ass footwork, but he would be lacking in power. But I guess it would be possible to have a best bboy if you could narrow it down like saying the best footwork bboy, the best toprock, best power, etc.

the way i view bboying - since i will probably never be the best bboy, i dont look at bboying in terms of whos best, because if i do, it just makes me realize how ill never get that far, and then i feel bad. but of course i want to be great, and of course im always trying to get better, but ive come to my standpoint that i bboy not because i want to be better than everyone else, but because its fun, artistic, unique, and it gives you and those watching a feeling of awesomeness comparable nothing else.

Being the best is being the best of yourself. Why worry about looking better than some other guy rather than being concerned about how to improve your own skills.
And, I don't think one can really be THE BEST bboy in the world. Why? Well, simply put, everyone has their own style, and in order for you to be the best, your style would have to be "better" than everyone elses', and who is to say any bboy's style is better than someone else's. That's what I think. |

It's like comparing someone can do a better profession than you. Like saying if I did turn pro, then wouldn't people like physicx would retire then right? You can be the best bboy, but not the best: in the whole bboying generation... Yeah I've asked a friend about this, and he used to be a bboy and he's pretty smart so my statement was: Me: ...Eventually I'm going to retire when I become 30 or something Him: don't retire. ok, bboying is subjective, and is rated by different people. If there was some kind of quantitative scale then yes, there would be a "best bboy"... but i don't get where you're going with this, people peak at the best and then get worse and someone else peaks at around thier level just afterwards.
