"Radio station Wild 94.9 FM's Bomb 21 crowned E-40 as the new king of hip-hop."

I was also listening to the 103.5 Kiss FM for the hell of it today (since i forgot my iPod hookup) and they were saying that Bow Bow is going to be the new king of hip hop!

Is it fair to crown a rapper as the king of hip hop?
Is anyone actually deserving of the title?

yea, that's pretty retarded. no one deserves the crown of king of hip hop, because you can't name a single emcee who's better than everyone else. there is always someone else who does something better. that's the beauty of hip hop, the evolution, the competition, the progression. that's why so many people say hip hop is dead...mainstream hip hop has been running around in circles for quite a while now. but that's life...mos def's new album comes out on the 29th, that should be enough to satisfy the most bloodthirsty of hip hop heads for a little while..lol.
