DO NOT RUN FROM WISDOM. RUN TOWARDS IT.
If I say a word and you don't know what it means, don't be too lazy to look it up. Don't be afraid to learn new words, don't be afraid to speak other languages, don't be afraid to learn about other cultures. Peace, God bless. |

Their's no king of hip hop because it's a culture that is so pluralistic. We're all hip hop's citizens, none above others, all bringing something unique to it.

he [KRS-one] has the temple of hip-hop and he also goes around doing lectures that inspire the positives of the hip-hop community. but its all based on opinion, so i guess there shouldnt be a king of hip-hop. but people should know all mainstream artists simliar to 50 cent arent eligible to be "crowned" the king ofhip-hop.

lol KRS is so full of himself. i'm not saying he's wack, but he thinks he's some sort of enlightened hip hop guru.

No offence but most of the "old school" heads are like that, holier than thou and "realer" than the rest, they get so full of themselves that they think they can do no wrong, my teacher who's pretty much an OG in the Australian scene is exactly like that, i can't stand him sometimes, he reeks of self-satisfaction and arrogance.

I was about to say something similar to that, but instead of father he would be like one of the fathers of hip hop. And no one really deserves to have the title King of Hip Hop because Hip Hop isn't only about MC's as they state it.

I think its basically impossible to crown a king of hip-hop because there are just too many aspects to it.
