I wuz in the car today and realized there are some pretty shitty radio stations out today. I wuz thinkin to myself, I'll change the radio station to the one that plays chubb rock. As I was flipping channels, I realized..... OH SHIT there is no radio station that plays chubb rock, nice & smooth or rakim. So dont u think there shud be a radio station that plays break music so u can jus bring ur radio outside to break and start jamming? How freakin dope wud that be
Theres a lot of music man its pretty unreasonable to expect a few certain artists on the radio at any given time. Most major cities will have a few radio programs where you will be able to hear that shit. I know a lot of the djs here that spin at jams also have their own radio shows.
On a side note I heard that if you tune into these gay radio stations that you can find on the net, they play a lot of disco and dance music which should sound familiar.
I disagree with the break radio station idea. I don't know about you guys, but I get sick of whatever song is on the radio because of its popularity (it gets played way too many times)
Oh. Well not the type like 103.3 where it talks then plays. An old skool rap station and since there are PLENTY of songs to choose from, I never realli thought of repititiveness
Tune into the Super B-Beat Show on Earthboundradio, twelvez.com, saturdays at 11 am pst. Its the best break beat show around. Its not its own station, but a show on the station obviously. Djs Mane One and Sake hosting and spinning on the wheels of steel.
Oh, thought u were gonna complain about a time that u called to win tickets and they ripped u off or something.
I wanna be a radio DJ. They're local celebs yet live the regular working life. I dont think I kud stay energetic like they do for the whole time their on. Unless I could have my own show with friends, then it wud be fun.
I wanna do a radio prank call that involves me doing a terrorist threat.
if you live in a town that has a university, theres a good chance it has its own community radio station. check into it if theres a college in your town. bigger cities have a lot of independent / community stations as well.
so its not hard to make a show of your own, or find some really good music out there on the airwaves.
i remember back in highschool i ran across this station that i dj on now, and it changed my outlook on what music should be.
