Gang or Krew?
.... My friend Sang Vu, aka Soon was killed this Saturday by the gang "Asian Boyz" by trying to join the gang, he was being initiated into the gang with a "Beat-in." But instead of it lasting 30secs, and him fighting back, it lasted over 2mins, and he wasn't fighting back.....
..... Asian Boyz, is a new gang/krew out here who don't know the difference between gang and krew. They dance, but they follow a lot of gang shit too. I learned about them when they tried to combine both Floor Rocks Krew with their group but True wasn't going for it so they left and made their own crew. But they got some new people and they're like monstrous, like brutal. Made up all these lame rules to be in the crew, not only do have to do certain moves but once you know those moves, everyone in that crew has to know the move, do the same moves before you can move on and advance yourself. Every battle we went up against them in we got it cuz they all did the same moves. Anyhow, this aint about dissing them or nothing. It's about the fact that Sang was a hot dancer, I mean he was crazy with his footwork and flips.
Issue at hand is now every break dance crew at my school is being watched, we were all called down to the office individually and asked if we knew of the Asian Boyz and who they were. Of course we all said no and left but it's just that every time we went to break in the back of the school during lunch yesterday we got yellled at by security to move off campus. It's crap, they don't understand, Asian Boyz is the gang... Floor Rocks and Off Gravity and 315 Krew.... and any other crews developing, we aint gangs, we're just crews... You know??
