Gang or Krew?
 .... My friend Sang Vu, aka Soon was killed this Saturday by the gang "Asian Boyz" by trying to join the gang, he was being initiated into the gang with a "Beat-in." But instead of it lasting 30secs, and him fighting back, it lasted over 2mins, and he wasn't fighting back..... ..... Asian Boyz, is a new gang/krew out here who don't know the difference between gang and krew. They dance, but they follow a lot of gang shit too. I learned about them when they tried to combine both Floor Rocks Krew with their group but True wasn't going for it so they left and made their own crew. But they got some new people and they're like monstrous, like brutal. Made up all these lame rules to be in the crew, not only do have to do certain moves but once you know those moves, everyone in that crew has to know the move, do the same moves before you can move on and advance yourself. Every battle we went up against them in we got it cuz they all did the same moves. Anyhow, this aint about dissing them or nothing. It's about the fact that Sang was a hot dancer, I mean he was crazy with his footwork and flips. Issue at hand is now every break dance crew at my school is being watched, we were all called down to the office individually and asked if we knew of the Asian Boyz and who they were. Of course we all said no and left but it's just that every time we went to break in the back of the school during lunch yesterday we got yellled at by security to move off campus. It's crap, they don't understand, Asian Boyz is the gang... Floor Rocks and Off Gravity and 315 Krew.... and any other crews developing, we aint gangs, we're just crews... Asian Boys? We have that dumb gang down here in massachusetts too. I don't know about them dancing or anything though. If they do, they probably suck. Some of my friends were in this gang, but they matured up and left as they got older. Comparing a gang like them to a krew is not cool. They are 2 completely different things. Most gangs doesn't have your back, but a krew always does.

Its sad when gang culture gets associated with something so positive and the authorities cant be bothered to discern between those causing the trouble and those who just happen to look like them. Im sorry about your friend, these things shouldnt happen.

I'm really sorry about your friend. We have wannabees up here who try to kill some people at a football game to get themselves established as a real gang. They call themselves DGB (Dumb Ghetto Boys). I hate fucking gangs they're little bitches. but what is with schools hating on bboying? Until Mr. Garcia started a club that lets us bboy at school we would get dentention for "disrupting school activities" Again I'm sorry about your friend. R.I.P Soon.

even dressing like a bboy ppl think you bang society as flipped they don't want to know anything that goes on under the service they just care about what's on the top page not what's in the middle but ya i'm not telling you what to do but if it were me and depending on how emotional i was i would want some revenge remember gang bangers talk alot of shit but usually can't back it, its like that here any ways, if you get one my his self he's a pussy but when they with their "boys" they act like they all that but ya just remember these words a gang is group with no backbone or spirit a crew is a family with a backbone, spirit, and love for one another and all though your friend is gone he is still alive in your heart, remember the goods times you had with him and the time's that make you feel good inside, it will all be ok RIP SOON show heaven what breaking is about |

how high up in the ranks you were weather or not people knew where you live cause there's people i know that got out but they had to run because it's like the mofia, once your in your in, and you better know how to hide because for the next year or so they look for you depending on how high of a person you are and alphatrion that is true but the point i was tryin to get across was how narrow minded the school is acting and how society acts as well and the bangers now-a-days dress slighty different then back then, there are slight differences but it's different none the less |
