style wars (documentary) and beat street are more acceptable IMO. I havent seen WildStyle yet....
BREAKIN WAS THE WORST. They did mostly the 2nd part of the title Electric Bugaloo... and plus it coined the "Breakin" and "Breakdancers" even more into mainstream culture since it was a major hollywood release. Was everyone in the 80's that wack?? Just kiddin... they had dope electric bugaloo moves though. It just seemed the characters had the mindset of middle schoolers.... like Ozone bein scared and running away from a battle?!?!? wtf? also.. I heard/read Turbo gave Michael Jackson dancing lessons and taught him how to do the move that later became his signature "moonwalk" |

It's all about Break'n Revolution. Hopefully the do that movie and it's not just rumors. As for part 1 and 2, I give them 2 thumbs down ...and 1 up ...and the other 3 down ...and then the one at the end ...up.

Not too mention Jon Claude Van Dam was in it. Just check in the crowd when Kelly K first sees the dance circle. It's hilarious. He's just in the background cheerin on.

Style Wars is a documentary therefore in a seperate category.
Wildstyle was the first true hip-hop film, cinematically, not very good but historically important. Lots of legends RSC, orginal Zulu, Grandmaster flash, Double Trouble, Busy Bee Starski, the list goes on. Beat street was basically a copy off of that. And Breakin' was just capatalizing on the fad. |

Random person- So you used to breakdance? Me- Yeah. RP- can you still do some stuff. Me- MMMM. RP- C'mon man do that shit like on you got served. His friends agree and try to convince me. Me- Veins popping out on my neck and forehead about to burst. I'm an ex-felon too, want me to show you a move we call a Columbian neck tie. RP- Oh yeah, that sounds badass what is it? Me- It's where I cut your throat and pull your tongue out through that hole. I hate that movie with a passion. |
