Don't try to make him look inferior. Yes, his grammar/spelling is terrible, but your "correction" isn't even right. Try using commas and perhaps fix the word "slippy".

I believe a simple answer would have sufficed.

Woah. You got me wrong there buddy. I wasn't trying to make him look inferior. I was just trying to advise him to speak properly on internet forums. And I know it wasn't that great, I was just trying to model it after his original post.

btw, linoleum + cardboard (for padding) is teh win
