Ideal Breaking Surface? - 09-18-2006, 02:11 AM

Since I have a gym around here with some springboard, like when they do all those nasty flips and cartwheels and crap on that blue stuff, I was thinking i could put som linoleum on top of that and bboy off springboard + smooth surface.

Springboard = more forgiving if you mess up then regular floor.

KAIZEN- Constant self-improvment.

Great work -> Great Results
Good work -> Good Results
Poor Work -> Poor Results
Nothing

^ None of that chart is true. The truth is that Perfection in work gives you Outstanding results. It works that way for all levels. If your do a poor job at work you will get fired, and have nothing.

Wood or Tiled surfaces.

Even an office floor is cool.

I like marble, but ideally you should be able to break on any surface.

When I used to practice at my friends gym, he had a spring floor as well as just a matted floor. We first tried putting the lino on the spring floor but it was sooo weird! like toprocking and shit on it, it was so bouncy it through you off, and then if you got used to it and went back to normal floor, it would feel weird.

For me the best surface to practice on is lino with carpet underlay.

My favorites are marble because it stays sleek and lino just because I'm comfortable with it. I started out with cardboard and love it because it can always be used as a last resort. Coincidentally here is a clip of me on cardboard! http://www.bboy.org/gallery/showphot...0&ppuser=56901
