So we circle up yeah and there's this kid in the middle, his name is Henry Woods. He thinks he hot stuff, so he starts c-walking and all this other gay crap like he's some G. I go out there and drop some sick toprock BreakEasy style lol with my pink shirt and wristbands. He's black, I'm white (doesn't matter to me but to him it does). Anyways he goes back in and like takes his shoe off and answers it like it's a phone. I go in and do a fatty backspin. He goes in again and does a windmill. I'm like, ok whatever. I go back in and am gonna do something sick and he pushes me down. I was so mad, this fool pushed me down. But then my other black friend is like hold up hold up let him in, let him go. So i go in and am so pissed I do like nothing and everyone just goes silent. Haha, I wasn't even embarrassed, now that I think about it it's kind of funny. After all my school has 400 kids, and it's a catholic school where 97% of the people are white and this guy thinks he owns the dancefloor. Prick.

That's what made me rededicate myself this week to beating him. I figure it's good motivation to get better and enhance my bboy skills. I'm coming back hard and know I'll do well.

Pretty much the same thing at my school... I dont think anyone can actually DANCE (me included)... But not to be racist or anything, but it always seems that if a black guy does the same move as a white guy, the black guy gets all the props for the dance... Unless its some wicked ass dance.

I have no repect for anyone that touches an opponent in a battle, there is to much of that shit going on these days. If someone actually pushed me down i would go for the guy.
Dont know about the race thing. one girl did tell me her and her friends though it was funny that our crew was a bunch of middle class white boys, we even considered being called "the middle class white boys". The guy you battled sounds like a "homeboy" which is our name for a black guy whose never been to a ghetto, but dresses all gangsta rap/RnB and talks like a Boys in the Hood reject. The kinda guy who would know fuck all about the real hiphop culture and would ask you what the hell you were doing bboyin since your white, like you dont have the right. Yeah, there a guys like that at my school...but I guess it's cus I'm a girl. You don't push them or hit them back or anything.... you just do your thing and hopefully they'll understand that they're jerks. A lot of people do that, or they like press right up against you when you're about to do your set....it gets annoying...but when they see you have some level of skill, seeing them shit themselves is a much better sense of satisfaction.

I don't know everything about hip hop culture but I do know that wannabe's just get bashed in the end. The black guy sounds like a wannabe....

i know what ur all sayin, and its tru. I 1st started breakin cus there was a lad at my school who could break a little & evry1 thort he was a god & he ended up with a massive ego. I started breakin cus i already did dance but i couldnt break and id always wanted to be able to, however he was given loads of props as a dancer although he had no style. I just wanted to get into it for real and school his ass. I tort myself to break, i could do all the moves he could and more (this is when i was 12 mind u) and at the next party we were at, he started to break and i followed and did more, then he did more, then when i hit out a backspin (which he couldnt do) his m8s all set on me whilst i was spinning and kicked me until i stopped spinning!
