Thers a LOT of New Talent on bboy.org -
09-12-2006, 03:53 AM
Has anyone noticed how dope all the new members of bboy.org are?
I have. Bboys breaking only one year are doing perfect flares and 90s and mills, headspins jackhammers hard combos like flare 90 and reverse power airchair spins all this crazy shit. Bboys who i think are dope. Blu Yamikage (INSANE level for his time in the game) Killatay Bboy lemon (8 months? WTF) These 4 are people i especially notice. Take a look at their galleries, lemon doing flaremillflaremillflare mill and flare to 90 after 8 months of breaking! WTF? Flaremillflaremill took me 2.5 years! And i still cant flare-90 consistent! Yamikage doing all sorts of crazy shit, reverse power clapping jackhammers like what the hell.... These new bboy.orgers are just amazing me with their progress. Anyone else out there impressed? |

Yeah. Real impressed man, for real they've got crazy skills, makes me feel like just giving up.
But for me i realise it's not a race to the finish cause i can admit i ain't the best bboy around, i learn for fun and if i see cats advancing heaps quickly, i ain't jealous, in fact i'm happy for them. Cats must be training like crazy, damn i wish i practiced now, i might actually have gotten somewhere with my dancing. Peace |

Yes for a long time i was very unhappy with my improvement rate.
Then i remembered that im just an ebboy, and ive never had a teacher, and im 6 hours away from the nearest bboy. So i smiled at the level ive achieved, and realised that FOR ME i will probably be close to 20 before i get known sall good, not everyone can be a prodigy. |

well i think the learning curve a lot of the times looks like a reflected 7, if you can imagine that. when it clicks at a certain point, you'll improve a lot really fast, then it'll level out and you'll improve at a slower pace as the moves get more advanced and the clicking for moves becomes more infrequent.
i remember after a year, i had nutcrackers and jackhammers and planches and all this weird shit. but since then i haven't gotten THAT much better. but hey good work, kids. some of you were just made for this shit. i heard spee-d learned airtracks in a year. |

How long has Yamikage been doing it now?? He's got AWESOME power.
Well I got jackhammers in 5 months lol, though I haven't really practiced, so they're not a consistant thing. Damnit LemoN improves too damn fast lol. Killatay has improved A LOT, I remember seeing an old video, when I just registered. Blu is just awesome lol, I've seen his 1 year vid. Edit -.-' I wanna hit my 1 year, been doing it for 9 months |

Damn... I agree that there are Crazy bboys like Killatay. Really, In all seriousness, props to them all, for DoING what comes naturally.
But, yea. The bboys mentioned above are good. And to explain the obvious joke, i know veritas's post was meant to show gratefulness to the entire site, but it was borderline ^. |
