Question Cardboards??? - 06-17-2006, 05:42 PM

Ssup Peeps, i have a pretty important question.
I just cant figure out how you guys can break on cardboard... cuz all i can find are small pieces... where do you get like really big pieces to break on?
Or how do i get all thos lil pieces together?
Please help me out here, and if you want 2 post a pic of your cardboards.

I just taped a bunch of little ones together with duct tape and then tagged it up. Has held up decent. I'd try it. Just make it big so that it doesnt slide around when you're on it.

you can by a big moving box at home depot for like 3 bucks or something. but if you're at home depot, might as well get the lino for about 15 bucks.

Sometimes I just break on cement, too. My shoes get killed, but whatever.

I went into a big, independant furniture place only yesterday to ask if they had any for the same reason. They had loads of big bits and said I could take as much as I wanted. Each piece was big enough to spin on but you'd have to tape a few together or it would slip around like Brines said....

Yeah, I agree. People like cardboard for the "old school flava", but really, lino is so much better.

And really, unless you are practicing certain moves (90's, handglides, backspins...) you can just break on carpet.

I just bought my first lino today. I asked for the CHEAPEST ONE, and it's expensive (for me), $37.00 for 6x9 at home depot. VP, your Home Depot had lino for 15 dollars? I can get jack shit at the Home Depot in my neighborhood for 15, lol. Hope it holds up okay, or I'll be pissed at wasting my $$$$ :-\
