welcome to bboy.org. glad to see your interested in dancing. 1-its breaking, not breakdancing. 2-popping is a different style of dance than breaking.

are you talking to me? do u have any idea of the history of hip hop?

http://www.bww2.com/global_bboy/culture.html
[speaking of Kool Herc, one of the founders of dj'ing and early hip-hop culture]
"He never played the whole (funk-) song but only the part which made people freak out the most: the break - the part where the beat was played in its purest form. But because the breaks of the songs were only some seconds long he expanded them by using 2 turntables with 2 records. With this "break-beats" he layed the foundation for the B-Boys (Break-Boys. Dancers who freaked out on the dancefloor during these breaks)"
DO U HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT?

edit:
o wait. you are talking about what he said at the beginning. wow, this is sort of awkward
