BBoys now dance for passion or money ? - 03-17-2006, 05:56 PM

Brahim (Pockemon crew) wouldn't compete to Baek (Extreme Crew Trailer : http://clipserver.net/bboyworld/Extr...rew%202006.wmvDOPE) because he won't get any money ...
He's not the only one there are a lots of bboys who battle only for money what do you think, isn't this killing the passion that we have for breakdance ?

definatly....to many people focus on the money, they dont cypher, they dont do shit unless they are gonna get paid.

im sick of that shit, cypher bboys are better anyway. battles are for pride, simple.

Dont bite the hand that feeds u, eventually everyone helping u will get annoyed...jesus.

Beginners giving beginners tips without understanding what they are saying is probally one of the worst ways to spread KNOWLEDGE.....which is the key to anything in life.

they dont support events unless the prizes are big enough

they dont support unless they think they can win

to much drama happens the more money is involved

people dont even wanna do exhibitions without being paid for them.....even if they lose

they dont get into cyphers because its not money time

I absolutely agree, look what happened to the NBA, NFL, and MLB. It is too much about the paycheck and not about the love of the sport. Too often do you see a superstar wanting more money when he already makes more than anyone playing the sport. We need to slap some sense into these fools. Its all about their reputations and how fat their wallets are. For most of them anyways.

I find it funny that sports stars who are gettin paid to play something they love, forget WHY they are playing. And u could turn around and find 10 more guys JUST as sick at the sport who would play for less money because they understand its about PRIDE and the LOVE of the game

College players are sicker than professionals in almost every sport....like the nba, and they dont need to bend the rules to win. But thats what people wanna see, a guy traveling to dunk the ball

same shit in bboyin....we rape ourselves, i can understand we want to get paid for our talent but its not about that and it shouldnt be when it comes to competitions. we dont get paid to play, we get paid to win. Theres a difference.

hmmm.

Its okay for him to do that. Pokemon crew survive off events. They dont have jobs other then breaking. He might have had a competition on at the same time.

However, if he DIDNT have a competition on at the same time, or a show, or an opportunity to make money, then yes thats bullshit.

Baek is sexy, id sit on his chairfreeze, and have his airbabies. WHAT?!
