Word up! Hi 2 all ! -

Hi !
Well first of all my name's Vick and I'm no B Boy (for now) Started learning moves a few months ago ! I can handstand, make some handfreezes, I can do the rubber band, a few flips ... that's about it basicaly ! I joined my schools dancing team, it's made out of 5 boys and 5 girls. We're pretty much ok ! Anyway ... I have some questions though ... 1. How's that style of dancing called from the movie (You got served). When they all dance the same ... 2. Could you give me an idea for a name ? For a crew ... Things is, we're 10, we still suck and we want a name ... Any suggestions will be of great use ! Damn, what a lame msg ! Anyway ... peace up ! |

dancing together would be hiphop, bboying is rarely doing syncronised on account of the different styles and stuff. but yeh dont use that as inspiration. find a copy of a real bboying event (BOTY?) and watch that

Wow, you got me all wrong ! I;m allmost 18 ... just ment 10 members :P
But I can hanstand from 8 ... I used to "modern dance" when I was young but had a 5 year break from that !  Anyway, thanks for the posts ! Boty !? What is that !? Sry but from where I come from, hip hop culture is 50 cent and b boy culture is nothing more than bomfunk - freestyler ... (ROMANIA  ) If you know any good songs or some nice videos I would really apreciate that ! Any tips are welcome Btw, any one from romania !? Best Wishes ... |

i wouldnt call it hiphop dance unless u wanna get laughed at by bboys, its just chereography..
BOTY stands for battle of the year, if ur gonna get a tape i would look up a better event. |

Oh gosh ... so tired !
Thanks for the tips guys ... I'm gonna search the net for BOTY ... (u think I'll find any free clips ?) Oh and my biggest problem ... I don't have an open space where I can practice alone ... Only the school gym wich I can access once a weekend for only 2 hours ! What in the hell should I do !? I live in a flat, so I don't have much room ! |
