It's linoleum. I heard that lino is better to have but see what everyone else has to say.

lino is an upgrade from cardboard because cardboard can burn pretty bad. it's oldschool though. but who cares about being old school.

i prefer lino cuz if the cardboard piece is too small, it will keep slipping away...not good when ur headspining over cement and when the cardboard suddenly moves away...ouchies lol

lino is better but cardboard is cheaper so...
^^^roll it up and stuff it in the boot or backseat or a combinartion of both if u can |

id say cardboard cuz it gives a little bit of padding but sometimes the paper can rub off. lino is thin, and its smoothness last a long time and it can get wet unlike cardboard.
what i do is get my cardboard and put the lino over it and just tape the corners down. i get the padding of cardboard and the smoothness of lino at the same time. |

well i dunno i tried both of them..I think lino is good for headspins and 90's or any kind of spins and cardboard is like a padding for footwork and foundation(I think there same, im a dumass dont mind).
