Handstands - 12-28-2005, 08:53 PM

I've noticed that a lot of moves have handstands in them. I wanna be able to do those moves, but I don't know how to do a handstand. So how do you do one?

Yeah, so far I've been practicing my handstands everyday and i still can't hold my balance

Blah Don't link that crappy Handstands (HS) guide, you don't even need a guide, I just did it cause of boredom at work.

But anyways don't worry about learning HS, just continue to practice it and the sooner or later something inside your head will click, and handstands will be a piece of cake.

Yeah ^^^ thats how it was for me. I can't hold'em very well yet, but it went from like Barely knowing howto do handstands for a long time, then being able to hold them long in like a one day jump (after practicing a lot for like 6 months).

Here's my guide to a handstand. I hope you know what a handstand looks like because it's required before you read this guide.


1.) Grow some cojones.
2.) Stand on your hands.
3.) Practice and don't give up.
4.) Don't use a wall. Thats why I said grow some cojones.

That's all there is to it.

arms has to be strong enuff to hold ur own weight for a few seconds..

go up.. keep ur back strait.. very strait.. like butt out and everything

for me splitting my legs gives more balance..

fo others itz different.. try to move ur legs around for balance.

but first things first, your arms must be strong enuff.. most ppl already have strong enuff arms
