Analyze Your Own Videos. -
12-28-2005, 10:18 AM
It is better to be able to learn things from yourself rather than having to ask others to point it out to you. Even others that you askdon't know how to analyze a video give you the wrong information you need to know.
Running Most Quicktime Programs: 1.When you run a video, run it in quicktime. 2.Play that Video, and then pause it immediatly after the start. 3.Click about one centimeter to the right of that play dot that streams across the bar. 4.Keep clicking bit by bit along that play bar. The given effect, is a slow-mo breakdown of whatever you're having a problem with. When you slow "it" down, you can identify initially what is wrong. IF you run it in Windows Media or a player that doesn't allow you to click it bit by bit: 1.Just quickly toggle the between the play and pause button to see a slow-down of the move. Other Way: Run the player Click one spot over and over again to analyze that one bit ---------------------- Here practice on this kick ass robot video http://www.ebaumsworld.com/robotdance.html |

actually, with quicktime, you can scroll frame by frame just by hitting the right and left arrows on the arrow pad.
with the new media player, you can slow mo most videos by hitting ctrl+shift+s ctrl+shift+n will put it back in normal speed. |

It's good to analyze what you're doing wrong by yourself, but the thing is, some people don't know what they're doing wrong...

well those people are idiots and can't compare a video of them screwing up with a video of something doing it properly.

windows media player's slowmotion is absolutely terrible
I import vids (this is mainly for power) into windows movie maker and play it frame by frame there, cuz often I get ccw clips and I go cw, so I have to use the "mirror horizontal" effect to reverse it for me |
